There are some fun and festive Fall traditions that can help get us in the mood for this wonderful season. Here are just a few ideas for things you could try:
Hit up a cider mill
The university is pleased to announce the launch of a new initiative called the Well-being Collective. What is the Well-Being Collective? It is a collaborative effort focused on making the University of Michigan a better place to live, work and learn for students, faculty and staff, by implementing a university-wide approach to supporting well-being.
Fight the Flu!
It’s that time of year again. As it gets colder, the pressure’s on to get your flu shot. Flu shots are important in managing the prevention and spread of the flu, and if you do happen to catch the flu after vaccination, it can reduce your symptoms significantly.

As fall kicks in and you’re settling into your classes, it’s important to figure out where to grab lunch. Don’t stress! MDining offers a variety of meal plans for off-campus students to help you take the guesswork out of what to cook (and how all those dishes will get washed).
Fall Break is coming up soon on October 17th and 18th! This four day weekend is a great time to plan a trip but coordinating travel can be difficult and costly. AirBus is a service for University of Michigan students through the Central Student Government that provides low cost rides to and from the Detroit Metro Airport before and after university breaks. On Friday, October 14th there will be transportation from Bursley Hall, Alice Lloyd Hall, and State Road/Madison Road by the Union to the airport starting at 7:10am with the latest departure at 5:30pm. These eastbound trips are $9.
Take to the scenic streets of North Campus on Saturday, October 22, 2022, to help raise awareness about domestic violence and to help the community recognize this issue with the 8th running of the Purple Run Ann Arbor! The event is taking place on North Campus at the Duderstadt Center, starting at 9am.
