Fall Break is coming up soon on October 17th and 18th! This four day weekend is a great time to plan a trip but coordinating travel can be difficult and costly. AirBus is a service for University of Michigan students through the Central Student Government that provides low cost rides to and from the Detroit Metro Airport before and after university breaks. On Friday, October 14th there will be transportation from Bursley Hall, Alice Lloyd Hall, and State Road/Madison Road by the Union to the airport starting at 7:10am with the latest departure at 5:30pm. These eastbound trips are $9. When you arrive back at the Detroit Metro Airport there will be westbound trips on Tuesday October 18th from the North “Evans” Bus Terminal starting at 12pm with the last one at 5pm, for $11.

You can reserve a ride to the airport on the CSG AirBus website based on your preferred departure time and location. The trips back to campus do not require reservations and instead will operate on a first come, first serve basis. For both trips you will swipe your MCard and the amounts will be charged to your student account. There will be CSG staff at the airport terminals to check in with before boarding. If you have any additional questions you can refer to the FAQ portion of their website or send an email to [email protected]. We hope that you have a relaxing and enjoyable Fall Break!
