Beyond the Diag - Off Campus Housing

BTD is Recruiting!

Do you have a passion for working with students? Do you live off campus? Do you like directing students to resources that can help them? Then look no further!

Beyond the Diag is looking for off-campus students who are interested in fostering community among students who live off campus and improving communication between students, the university, and the Ann Arbor community. In addition to this, we are looking for students who can raise awareness of issues and promote positive neighbor relations with all off-campus students.

Meet Nico - DPSS's latest recruit!

Meet Nico! This good boy is the newest addition to the DPSS Community Engagement Unit Team! He is trained to adapt to the needs of different people and groups, and is a graduate of the therapy dog training program for public safety first responders. He loves to make friends, be petted, and spend time with U-M students who want his company.

Michigan Dining

As the end of the school year approaches, many students are finalizing off-campus housing plans for next year. This can be a stressful process, especially for students who lived in dorms this year and never had to worry about where they were going to eat. Luckily, MDining’s Buy Ahead program is a great way for students to stay on top of their nutrition after they transition to living off campus. Until May 31, 2023, students are able to buy next year’s meal plans at this year’s prices!

UMich Votes

Last November students at the University of Michigan ensured that their voices were heard at the ballot boxes during the general election. Over 4,000 people took advantage of the satellite Ann Arbor City Clerk’s offices at UMMA and the Duderstadt Center in 2022, which made registering to vote and casting a vote on election day more accessible to students. UMich Votes would like to ensure that students have an even better experience in the lead-up to the 2024 election.
