Welcome back, and Happy Fall! Although we’re still enjoying warm weather, the fall is definitely upon us, and our latest newsletter has lots of information about things to do and ways to be involved in September!
Over the next few weeks, there are several events that are being hosted by Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) and the Spectrum Center.
We hope to never experience a fire in our homes, and fire prevention guidance is key to reducing the risk.
Events are a great way to come together and celebrate various occasions, like football season and the start of the semester. Being responsible for your alcohol consumption can help make events more inclusive for everyone
The Washtenaw County Health Department has recently reported instances of bats testing positive for rabies. Rabies is a fatal but preventable disease, and occurs in humans when they are bitten or scratched by wild animals such as bats, skunks and foxes.
With the beginning of fall, many students are planning their socializing activities both on and off campus. The Community Concerns Response Program would like to send out a reminder about the laws, ordinances, and guidelines within Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan related to open containers of alcohol.

As we head into fall, we want to update you on the many great opportunities that are available through Rec Sports. All are great ways to achieve your fitness and well-being goals, meet new friends and do something positive for yourself.
Fall has arrived, students are back on campus, and Ann Arbor is busier than ever! As you start to get your routine down for this fall semester, don’t forget to take a moment to tend to all of your dining needs.
