Hey Wolverines! Thanksgiving Break is just around the corner, so as you prepare to leave town for the holiday, make sure you follow these steps:
Fall has definitely arrived, and here are some important and interesting updates for you, as we approach the end of the semester and the holiday season. Please stay safe and healthy, and enjoy the last few weeks of term!
Staying in Ann Arbor for the holidays?
While many students will travel to be with friends and family during the holiday season, we know that some students will be staying in Ann Arbor. This may be because of school work, employment, cost/distance of travel, or because Ann Arbor is their permanent home.
Saving energy and staying warm
Winter is near and it’s starting to get chilly! This may mean you have started to increase your thermostat temperatures to keep your space nice and warm. Did you know that by decreasing your thermostat by one degree, you not only save money on your heating bill, you are also sustainably saving energy?
Fall Experiences survey
On Sunday, November 21, Student Life will send the Fall Experiences survey to all undergraduate students and any graduate/professional students that have engaged with Student Life experiences since the beginning of the academic year. The survey invitation email subject line will be ‘Complete the Fall Experiences Study for a chance to receive a $500 Visa gift card' and the message will come from U-M Student Life Research. Each student will receive a unique link to the survey and should not share their link with others.
CSG Airbus
The Central Student Government (CSG) provides a service to take students to and from the Detroit airport for certain breaks. The service runs between Ann Arbor and Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) during high-traffic times before and after the Thanksgiving and Winter breaks.
This year, for the Thanksgiving break, CSG is planning to take students to the airport on Monday, November 22 and Tuesday, November 23. Return trips from the airport will occur on Sunday, November 28. Pick up points at DTW are North and McNamara Terminals.
