Welcome back, Wolverines! Although we’re only a few days into 2024, we already have lots of exciting news and important updates to share. We began the new year with the football team overcoming the Washington Huskies and bringing the national title back to Ann Arbor. Take a look at this month’s newsletter, as the winter semester kicks into gear!

MLK Symposium 2024

On Monday January 15, in honor and celebration of the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, a range of events will take place for members of our community to attend and participate in. One of the key events taking place on campus is the keynote memorial lecture delivered by Michelle Alexander on "Transforming the Jangling Discords of our Nation into a Beautiful Symphony".

Black History Month 2024

February is Black History Month, and this year’s events will formally begin with the Opening Ceremony taking place on February 5, 2024, 6:30-8:30pm. The event will be held in the Rogel Ballroom of the Michigan Union and will include opening remarks as well as a range of student, staff, and guest performances.
