Meet Nico! This good boy is the newest addition to the DPSS Community Engagement Unit Team! He is trained to adapt to the needs of different people and groups, and is a graduate of the therapy dog training program for public safety first responders. He loves to make friends, be petted, and spend time with U-M students who want his company.

Leaving town for the summer
As the spring semester comes to a close, you may be preparing to leave town in the next few weeks. For those of you who will graduate this semester, congratulations, and we wish you well on your future endeavors! It’s a bittersweet time for all of us as we say goodbye to familiar faces and welcome new opportunities for growth and exploration. This time of year is also stressful, as it often means moving back home with a lot more items that you came with. This article offers some tips and resources to help make this move as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Spring 2023 Move Out
Are you leaving your rental or starting a new lease and getting rid of trash, useful household items, or recycling? The City of Ann Arbor can help! We’re offering trash, reuse, and recycling drop-off opportunities to students and their landlords on April 26, 28, and 30; May 1, and 3, 2023 at 2000 South Industrial Highway between 10:00am and 3:00pm. You can drop off your items at this location for free during these hours. Any illegal dumping during off hours is subject to fines.

As the end of the school year approaches, many students are finalizing off-campus housing plans for next year. This can be a stressful process, especially for students who lived in residence hallsthis year and never had to worry about where they were going to eat. Luckily, M Dining’s Buy Ahead program is a great way for students to stay on top of their nutrition after they transition to living off campus. Until May 31, 2023, students are able to buy next year’s meal plans at this year’s prices!
