Summer is here! Although campus may be a little quieter, there’s still plenty to do and some important updates for those who are still in Ann Arbor. For all the latest info on events, activities and important information, take a look at this month’s newsletter.
The Ann Arbor Art Fair is a yearly event that draws in close to half a million attendees over the course of three days. The A2SF (Ann Arbor Summer Festival) is a four-week event in June offers over hundreds of concerts, art exhibitions, kids’ activities, film screenings and spectacles.
The university’s Farm Stand is a weekly pop-up market that is held most Thursdays, 12-3pm, from July to November each year. The Farm Stand is led by the University’s Sustainable Food Program (UMSFP) and the Campus Farm (CF) at Matthaei Botanical Gardens.
With the weather getting warmer, you may be tempted to leave doors and windows open and unlocked, to allow for ventilation. Home intruders and criminals look for these types of easy access points, as it offers the quickest access to your home and valuables.
In thinking about ways to navigate and respond to conflict, it is important to understand each person’s position and their interest. A person’s position normally describes their desired, stated outcome - what they would like to happen.
