Ann Arbor Art Fair

This yearly event draws in close to half a million attendees over the course of three days. Spanning 30 city blocks in downtown Ann Arbor are a variety of different artists, vendors, food trucks, and special deals at local businesses. This is a special event that cannot be missed! This year, the Ann Arbor Art Fair is scheduled for Thursday, July 18th through Saturday, July 20th, beginning at 10am and going until the evening each day.  Parts of the downtown area are pedestrianized and closed to vehicle traffic during the summer months, and this offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy some of the sights, sounds, tastes and culture that Ann Arbor has to offer in a more pedestrian-friendly way. For full details, visit the Ann Arbor Art Fair website.

If you enjoy live music then this is the event for you! This four-week event in June offers over hundreds of concerts, art exhibitions, kids’ activities, film screenings and spectacles. A majority of these events are free to the public. Many of the events that do charge for entry offer complimentary or low-cost tickets to students. Top of the Park is the outdoor program element, and typically takes place on and around Ingalls Mall, and this year runs June 14-30. Descriptions of the events being hosted are listed here and you can find the calendar and ticket information on the website.
