It’s August, and students are getting ready to come to Michigan. We have tons of exciting events, useful information, and important updates for you as you prepare to arrive in Ann Arbor.
August is here, which means the University of Michigan is welcoming back many students and welcoming a new class to Ann Arbor! To welcome these students to campus, the University of Michigan is hosting a whole range of exciting and engaging activities and events across Central and North Campuses, as part of the Welcome to Michigan program.
As we move into August and the beginning of football season we are expecting to see an uptick in ticket scam activity. DPSS has identified an increase in a particular type of scam over the past year.
Many of us have been enjoying the Paris 2024 Olympics, and watching athletes from across the world, gathering to compete. But did you know that 45 athletes with links to the University of Michigan are competing in Paris this summer?
On Sunday, September 1, the University of Michigan and the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI) are presenting the first-ever NAMIWalks Ann Arbor. The event aims to reduce stigma related to mental health, and promote access to and engagement with mental health support for all.
