Community Concerns Response Team - Important Updates

As we are closing in on the end of the year, the Community Concerns Response Team wants to send out a reminder of important resources to keep in mind as you are finishing the semester. We hope you have a great Thanksgiving break, and best of luck as you head into finals.

  • Dean of Students Office
    • The Dean of Students Office assists students who are experiencing anything that may be interrupting their academic and campus life. They provide direct support to students and connect them with appropriate resources that may be helpful in navigating student life and continuing as successful, healthy members of the campus community.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
    • CAPS is available for mental health support. Information about scheduling an appointment can be found here.
  • University Health Service (UHS)
    • UHS supports the health and well-being of the campus community through a public health-informed approach that emphasizes prevention, education, and treatment. We are inspired to help students realize their potential, cope with the stresses of life, work productively, and connect meaningfully with others.
  • Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center (SAPAC)
    • SAPAC addresses sexual assault, intimate partner violence, stalking, and sexual and gender-based harassment on campus in a multitude of ways.
  • Office of Financial Aid
    • For concerns related to tuition or finances, the Office of Financial Aid is a great place to start.
  • Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD)
    • SSD is available to assist students with disability services and can provide academic accommodations when appropriate.
  • Wolverine Wellness
    • Wolverine Wellness  advances community and personal well-being through partnership and advocacy. Their vision is to have a campus community that centers health equity and elevates well-being.
  • School/College
    • Your school/college is often a great resource for any academic-related questions or concerns. Your academic advisor or advising office is a good place to start.
