The university is excited, prepared and ready to welcome our community of students, staff and faculty back onto campus this fall, for a whole variety of in-person classes, activities and events. Fall is a wonderful time at U-M, and we are looking forward to this year.
In order to keep our community safe, and in accordance with the guidance developed by our clinical and public health experts, all staff, faculty and students are required to be vaccinated and submit their COVID-19 vaccine information by no later than August 30, 2021. The university is providing limited exemptions for medical or religious reasons, and also offering temporary deferrals for individuals who may not be able to complete a vaccination authorized by the US Food and Drug Administration, or the World Health Organization.
