Self Defense Workshop

Campus safety is on everyone’s minds when coming to college, from students and their parents to RA’s and professors. The university has many services for students, including SafeRide and the campus blue lights, that can significantly help students feel safe while out and about on campus. To increase this sense of security, Beyond the Diag is offering you an opportunity for a free self defense workshop!

This class will include both a “street” safety component as well as a segment on acquaintance safety that is specifically tailored towards college students. Being aware is essential to confidence and empowerment in any situation, in college and beyond! The workshop is meant for students and all are welcome to sign up. We can only provide a spot for the first thirty students who sign up, but we will be filling in spots from the wait list as people cancel.
