Looking for the perfect combination of public service and school spirit? Look no further than the winter Blood Battle competition! Until February 22nd, you have the opportunity to help save lives and show Michigan State, Penn State and Wisconsin that here at the University of Michigan we’re not only the leaders and best, but also the most giving.
This competition comes at an important time when blood and platelet donations are at a critical low and the American Red Cross is urging all of us to donate if we can. To make an appointment you can visit the Blood Battle website and click on “Donate” or head directly to the American Red Cross website and use the sponsor code “goblue” to find all of the drives going on across campus and Ann Arbor. Besides the amazing feeling of saving lives, all donors also receive a Blood Battle t-shirt and coupon for BOGO Washtenaw Dairy while supplies last. Also donors names will be entered into a raffle for gift cards to local businesses and other various prizes, so why not donate?
