Are you leaving your rental housing or starting a new lease and getting rid of trash, useful household items, or recycling? The City of Ann Arbor can help!

We’re offering trash, reuse, and recycling drop-off opportunities to students and their landlords at the end of the Winter semester. These services will be provided at 2000 South Industrial Highway, where you will be able to drop off your items for free during operating hours (10am-3pm.

More information will be added to this dedicated website, in time for the move out period that begins in late April.

Reuse, Donate, and Recycle

Before you bring items to the City’s recycle location, check out these donation and reuse optionsa2gov.org/Reuse.

As part of these continued efforts, the city is working with the University of Michigan to promote reuse and recycling. Students can donate unopened food and hygiene products and kitchen supplies to the Maize and Blue Cupboard. https://mbc.studentlife.umich.edu/how-to-help/
