  2. Bandemer Nature Area
  3. University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum
  4. Barton Nature Area
  5. Matthaei Botanical Gardens

As Halloween approaches, here are some reminders about less risky drinking practices that can help you Stay in the Blue.

  • Spacing out your drinks at social events and counting drinks can help you stay at a lower blood alcohol content, or BAC, level (.06 or below) if you choose to drink alcohol. This helps you get what you want from drinking while avoiding the stuff you don’t want.
  • Following the buddy system can help keep you within safer limits. A buddy is a friend who chooses to stay sober and helps you stick to your limits. This system also allows for a person to be sober in cases of emergency or severe intoxication.
  • Try non-alcoholic beverages. More and more students are enjoying sobriety and having a fun party experience without the worries of being too intoxicated in social situations.

Whatever you choose to do, plan ahead to stay safe and well. Wolverine Wellness is here to support you as you Stay in the Blue!
