On Sunday, September 10, Ann Arbor will host an event to highlight and promote local businesses and services to new and returning students. The event will take place 1-5pm, and will be based at multiple locations across the downtown Ann Arbor area. These locations coincide with the three main downtown business districts, who are helping to plan and co-host the event in conjunction with the university’s Office of Government Relations.
The event is a great opportunity to find out about the thriving and diverse businesses in Ann Arbor, including restaurants, cafes, clothing stores, and the many niche and boutique businesses in the city. The event will feature food, live music, and giveaways. You can also use your MCard to get discounts at participating locations.
Each of the three business districts will also have a table providing wristbands when you show your MCard. Collect wristbands from all three tables and you will receive a free gift card (while supplies last).
