We recognize that for all of us, the past year has been far from normal. Between masks, testing, vaccines, and other changes, there has been a lot of impact on our lives. We are so excited to be welcoming students back to Ann Arbor for in-person classes, activities and events. There are so many opportunities for you to experience student life in the city, make new friends, and re-connect with familiar faces. For a full list of events, take a look at the Happening@Michigan calendar or the Welcome to Michigan homepage for more details.
For students living off-campus this year, we know that this may be your first opportunity for in-person student events in Ann Arbor, so we have developed some events specifically for you. The first event is part of Escapade, taking place at the Michigan Union on Friday, September 3, 7-10 pm. You will have an opportunity to connect with off-campus housing providers, as well as meet other students living in off-campus housing.
There is also a neighborhood gathering event, taking place at Burns Park, on Sunday, September 5, 1-3 pm. This event will include food, music, games, and opportunities to learn more about on-campus services and resources. A shuttle bus will be available between North Campus and Burns Park.
