From now through the end of October, pop over to the U-M FarmStand on Thursdays from noon-3pm outside of the U-M Art Museum on State Street. Students receive a 30% discount on local produce grown by other students. The U-M Sustainable Food Program (UMSFP) and the Campus Farm sustain this project in hopes that students will learn about food systems, receive opportunities for community engagement, and have more access to locally grown food. All proceeds from the Farm Stand go towards funding student-led sustainable food initiatives at U-M through UMSFP's mini-grants for food justice program.
