Super Bowl 50 Commercials

SURPRISING/CUTEST/WORST (depending on who you ask): Heinz: Meet the Ketchups

A pack of wiener dogs dressed as hot dogs running towards a group of humans… dressed in humongous ketchup/mustard/BBQ sauce costumes. Call it unorthodox or off-the-wall all you want, but the only appropriate comment after seeing this commercial is a solid “No Comment.”

Other nominees: Doritos: Doritos Dogs, Taco Bell: Quesalupa

MOST INSPIRING: AXE: Find Your Magic

“Who needs the nose when you got the suit? Or needs the suit when you got the moves? Or needs the moves when you got the fire?” AXE went all out this time with this inspiring campaign that encourages every man to find your Magic, that one unique feature that makes him stand out from the pack. With that being said, using the new AXE will not make you instantly attractive nor bring out your inner confidence, but at least now you know you will smell good.

Other nominees: T-Mobile: Drop the Ball, Pokemon: Train On

BEST: Doritos: Ultrasound

During an ultrasound session, the husband is criticized by his wife for eating a bag of Doritos. They then notice the baby, who is still in the womb, is asking for some Doritos from his dad. Bothered by her husband, the wife tosses her husband’s Dorito across the room… and boom! Watch the full commercial, and embrace yourselves for a dramatic, surprise-filled ending.

Other nominees: Mountain Dew: PuppyMonkeyBaby, Budweiser: Simply Put [don’t drive drunk!]
