The University of Michigan is hosting several commencement activities for students who graduated December 2021 and who are graduating April 2022 and August 2022. To find information about your school's specific graduation information, check out the commencement calendar here.
Several University identity-based organizations also host their own individual graduation ceremonies. Take a look at the following to see if any of these ceremonies apply to you!
Black Celebratory:
U-M Graduating African/African American Students who would like to be recognized as part of the Black Graduation Celebration are invited to register through this form. The hard deadline is Friday, March 11th by 11:59 pm. They invite all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students graduating in December 2021, April 2022, and August 2022 to participate.
The Black Graduation Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at the Power Center from 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
Asian and Pacific Islander Graduation Celebration - Future in Bloom:
Date: Friday, April 29, 2022
Time: 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m.

First-Generation Celebration Commitee:
The First-Generation Graduation Celebration Committee will honor the Class of 2022 graduates aiming to celebrate the accomplishments, traditions, and experiences of the graduating first-generation student community.
The Celebration will be on April 27 from 5:30-7:30. Doors open at 5. Please complete this form if you are interested in being recognized as a first-generation college graduate of the University of Michigan. The deadline to complete this form is February 28 by 11:59PM EST.
