Off-campus PBSL Pilot Program

Do you find that your food often turns bad before you get to use it? Do you forget about the food you have in the fridge if it is hidden and out of sight? Do you get frustrated that the money you are spending goes to waste when you have to throw food away? Do you want to learn about how to make your food last longer to reduce how much food waste you produce?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Planet Blue Student Leaders’ Off-Campus Housing Team is here to help! They are launching a pilot project on fridge organization for off-campus housing students. If you are a student living in off-campus housing and share a fridge with others, this project might be for you!

Through their pilot project, the off-campus housing PBSL team aims to empower students to organize their fresh and refrigerated produce and food to save money, make food last longer, and reduce food waste. Students interested in participating in the pilot project would be required to participate from from 2/1/2022 to 2/25/2022 and respond to informal, weekly check-ins.

If you’re interested in participating or would like to know more, please fill out this form (bit.ly/3qt3crx).
