Thanksgiving break is coming up and I know we all need it after this busy semester! This is a great time to travel, visit family and friends, and eat a lot of good food. If you’re wondering how to get to the airport, the Airbus has got you covered. The Central Student Government (CSG) runs this service that helps provide low-cost rides to the Detroit airport from campus during all major university breaks.

You can take a trip to the airport on November 21 and 22 for $9. AirBus picks up from campus at Bursley Hall, Alice Lloyd Hall, and on the corner of State St and Madison St. Buses run from 2:12 PM to 6:30 PM on Monday and from 10:12 AM to 6:30 PM on Tuesday. For a more detailed pickup schedule, check out their Thanksgiving Break schedule.

When you come back on Sunday, November 27, you can expect to pay $11 to return to campus. These buses arrive at Detroit Airport’s North Evans Terminal and the McNamara Terminal starting at 10:57 AM, with the last pickup departing the airport at 6:15 PM.

Reservations can be online for Ann Arbor-Detroit trips on November 21 and 22. No reservation is needed for the return journey on November 27, which operates on a first-come, first-served basis. For both trips, you will swipe your MCard and the cost will be charged to your student account. There will be CSG staff at both terminals to provide assistance.

If you have any additional questions, check out the FAQ section of the website or send an email to [email protected]. We hope you have a relaxing and fun-filled holiday break!
