A frita is basically a burger with your choice of meat topped with fries, a fancy sauce, and any other toppings you like. At Frita Batidos, you can even “make it a loco” and get all of their crazy toppings if you’re feeling adventurous. You can also get a batido, which is a tropical milkshake that comes in various flavors like passion fruit and chocolate Español. Other menu items include fries, beverages, fried plantains, salads, and the best churros you will ever eat.
As someone who loves burgers, I think that Frita Batidos has one of the best burgers in Ann Arbor. I have never had an item from this menu that I didn’t like. Although their menu is somewhat limited in choice, you can customize each item to fit your taste and dietary restrictions and if you’re having a hard time picking out food, just ask and they will be happy to help you out!
My favorite time to go to Fritas is during their happy hour, where you can get a beef frita and fries for only $6.50! So if you’re looking to try this place out and want to save a few bucks, go during 4-6pm Sunday through Thursday or the last hour of service nightly. Eat up and enjoy!
