Navigating Conflict in Transitions

As April approaches, many of us are thinking about transitions. Whether it is finding clothes for the transitional weather, moving into a new apartment, or planning a life transition after graduation, our lives are constantly filled with change. Navigating transitions is hard, as major decisions often need to be made in seemingly not enough time.

Sometimes, conflict arises during these volatile transitions and it can be difficult to explore resolutions in a time of instability. In these situations, it’s important to stay centered and listen actively to the perspectives of others. However, we realize this can be hard in moments where nothing is constant.

The Office of Student Conflict Resolution (OSCR) is a student and community resource for those seeking to navigate conflict, transitions, or even communication skills in general. We also assist with lease agreements and landlord-tenant disputes. Our office is here to serve as a grounding force when things are up in the air for you. We are here to support and empower anyone who walks through our doors! Contact us at [email protected].
