As winter starts to wind down, March marks a seasonal shift with longer days and the start of Daylight Saving Time. With these shifts, this time of year can also be an opportunity to pause, reflect, and set intentions for the remainder of the semester.
Wolverine Wellness is here to support you on your well-being journey. Having hope is an important influence in your life – one that can be affected by stressors and/or periods of low motivation. However, you don’t have to navigate stress, transitions, or challenges alone. There are many resources available to you on campus, here are just a few:
- One way to nurture hope is by strengthening your mental well-being. Practices such as mindfulness and relaxation techniques can be helpful. Check out our Instagram page @WolverineWellness for some mindfulness tips created in collaboration with the Stamps School of Art & Design.
- You can also visit the Wellness Zones located in the Michigan Union and Pierpont Commons. These drop-in spaces offer resources designed to help students recharge, including massage chairs and zen gardens.
- If you need a little guidance finding your way, consider wellness coaching with one of our board-certified wellness coaches! They can help you find hope with a personalized approach and practical strategies.
