Last month, Michigan Dining was proud to host Tambra Raye Stevenson as a part of programming for the annual University of Michigan Martin Luther King Jr. Symposium. She highlighted that each of us has the power to make positive change in the world – and together, we can be even more influential than we are alone. Her lecture was a necessary reminder that each of us has the power to make positive change in the world – and together, we can be even more influential than we are alone.
For the event, MDining team members Lulu, Leena, Kayla, and Sadiyah created a beautiful menu filled with rich and delicious foods. Each chef drew on their own cultural background to prepare dishes that were truly representative of the vibrant diversity at the University, and they were enjoyed by all in attendance.
MDining is a proud sponsor of this event in partnership with Food Literacy for All. The symposium was a wonderful opportunity for U-M students and staff to come together in a celebration of MLK Jr., progress, and hope for the future.
