Attend Relationship Remix and Change It Up Workshops

Attend Relationship Remix and Change it Up! Skill-Building Workshops to build inclusive, healthy communities at UM!

All first year students, whether they are living in the residence halls or in off-campus housing are required to participate in two peer-led, interactive, skill-building workshops called “Relationship Remix: Workshops on Relationships, Sex, and Choice.” and "Change it Up! Bystander Intervention Workshops".

Relationship Remix, a nationally recognized program will help you understand key components around consent, communication, decision-making, sexual health and healthy relationships.

Change it Up! combines theater and skill-building around intervening in harmful situations with your friends, in your classes, with your family, and in your community.  You’ll gain knowledge and build skills in a safe and fun environment to help you navigate your relationships, communities, and your life here at the University of Michigan. You’ll be able to meet fellow first-year Wolverines and gain awareness about campus resources.

Register for Relationship Remix here and Change it Up! here. You can go to any session that is offered! Please note that for Relationship Remix, there are some sessions specifically for off-campus students, titled "Beyond the Diag sessions". Please email community.matters.course@umich.edu if you have any questions!
