Ann Arbor Summer Festival kicks off on June 16. This month-long celebration of the arts includes free movie screenings around at Top of the Park, Bike Nights, comedy nights, and various free events around the University of Michigan and Downtown Ann Arbor. More information can be found here.

 

Shakespeare in the Arb

Looking for a unique theatre experience? Local actors and University students perform Shakespeare plays using various settings throughout Nichols Arboretum. The featured play for 2019 is "Twelfth Night or What You Will." Dates have not been announced yet, but updates can be found here.

 

Ann Arbor’s Art Festival

Ann Arbor's Art Festival is one of the nation’s largest outdoor art fairs. From July 18-21st you can enjoy art vendors, street performers, food vendors and much more. You can check out this link out for more information.   

 

Taste of Ann Arbor

Celebrate your inner foodie by attending a Taste of Ann Arbor on June 2nd. Forty of Ann Arbor’s favorite restaurants will be set up on the two blocks of Main Street between William and Washington. Take a chance to sample your favorite restaurants or try something new! For a list of participating restaurants, visit this website.

 

Huron River Day

If you’re looking for an excuse to kayak on the Huron River, mark your calendar for Huron River Day on May 19. Enjoy the beautiful river with activities at Gallup Park. If you have your own kayak or boat you can ride free. If not, rentals start at $12. There will also be food trucks, live music, and a boat show!
