Staying Healthy and Safe during COVID-19

While staying home by yourself is the safest thing to do, it is not always possible to do so and sometimes you may just need to get out and about! To keep yourself safe and protect those around you, remember to:

  • Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water

  • Only engage in a group setting with those in your household

If you do find yourself around others, it is vital to:

  • Wear a face mask or covering

  • Remain 6 feet away from others

  • Breathe normally

  • Stay in open-air outdoor areas

  • Bring your own food and don’t allow others to handle your food

Most importantly, if you are not feeling well, stay home except to seek medical care. If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 or would like medical advice, UHS (https://uhs.umich.edu/2019-nCoV) has COVID-19 specific information as well as a 24-hour nurse line that can be reached by calling (734) 764-8320.

Stay safe, Wolverines!
