Stay True, Go Blue!

Football Saturdays have been a long tradition here at the University of Michigan; this fall has already been filled with maize, blue, and lots of khaki! Coach Harbaugh has successfully led the football team to seven wins this season already with only two losses. Not to mention they are only halfway through the season! The month of November still holds the opportunity for the team to gain victories against Indiana, Penn State, and the much anticipated Ohio State over the long weekend break.

Michigan will host Ohio State on Saturday, November 28th. This matchup will bring the season to a close, and hopefully with a victory! However, win or lose it is important for us all as Wolverines to uphold the strong sportsmanship and integrity of the University of Michigan. Fans from most any rivaling University are guaranteed to be loud, rowdy, and ready to defend their team until the end with their words and actions, therefore, we as Michigan students and fans need to remember that we are the Leaders and Best and we should lead by example at OUR house.

The safety and security of all those who are attending, Wolverines and Buckeyes alike, is a primary concern for big game day weekends such as these. Safety during Michigan State game day was a top priority and us Wolverines rocked it that weekend, tough loss and all! We want to convey this same message and have the same outcome during Ohio State game day, hopefully with a blowout win though.  Exhibiting good sportsmanlike behavior is essential to ensuring that this is an enjoyable experience for all. Whether tuning in from your home television or cheering the team on in the Big House, don’t forget to stay true and GO BLUE!
