Restaurant Week

After spending the entire fall semester just drooling over all of the various Ann Arbor restaurants, your time has finally come. January 15-20, 2017 head out to any of these participating restaurants and enjoy an affordable treat – it’s Restaurant Week!

Restaurant Week is one of my favorite times of the year. Many Ann Arbor restaurants participate by offering different kinds of deals on a limited set of menu items. The most common offer is lunch for $15 and a three-course dinner for $28. A lot of restaurants will offer those prices as a 2-for-1 deal, so you can get dinner for both you and a friend for only $28 ($14 each). Not every restaurant serves lunch, but you can check the list of restaurants and what meals they serve, what deals they offer, and what menu items will be included on the Restaurant Week website. It also includes filters to check for vegan and vegetarian options.

I highly recommend you take advantage of these offerings! Many of the restaurants participating are located on or adjacent to Main Street and can usually be quite expensive on a student budget. Be sure to make reservations if your restaurant of choice allows it, as the wait can get pretty long during this week. While all of the options are genuinely good, I recommend you consider trying out one of my favorites, which include: Aventura, Bigalora, Felix Bistro & Bar, Gandy Dancer, or Prickly Pear this year!
