Looking for your next off-campus home? Come to the Housing Fair!

Finding a housing for next year can be a common source of stress for off-campus students, and we are here to help. Join us in the Pendleton Room (Union, Second Floor) on Tuesday, February 13th for Beyond the Diag’s Winter Housing Fair! From 11:00am to 2:00pm, you can stop by for a cup of hot chocolate, meet local landlords, and ask your neighborhood ambassadors questions about finding housing and living off campus.

Before you attend the Housing Fair, check out these helpful tips:

  • Bring questions. The Housing Fair is a great opportunity to ask local landlords questions about their housing options and policies. Think about what questions you may have ahead of time.

  • Consider what kind of housing is right for you. Set some standards for what kind of housing you are looking for. Are you interested in living in an apartment or a house? Think about the aspects you consider most important in a living environment. What worked well, or didn't work well, for you growing up and in the residence hall? Keep in mind the number of roommates you want to live with.

  • Think about your budget. Many Ann Arbor landlords have a variety of properties listed at varying prices. Having an ideal price range can really help in narrowing down your choices and find the living situation that is perfect for you and your college budget.

Beyond the Diag’s neighborhood ambassadors will be at the housing fair to provide helpful information regarding living off campus and answer any questions you may have. Student Legal Services will also be present to answer any legal concerns you may have about lease agreements.
