Campus Safety Tip: Protecting Your Valuables

Theft continues to be the number one most reported crime on this   campus. In 2012, there were 734 total thefts reported! Remember   this is a crime of opportunity. To ensure that this does not happen   to you make sure that you never leave valuables unattended and keep your belongings, doors, and windows locked and secure.

It’s a good idea to register your valuable electronic items such as   your cell phone, laptop, as well as your bicycle with UMPD to help   prevent theft. You can register your items online or in person.

For more information, you can check out the Fire Safety Report.
