L-O-V-E is in the Air

"L is for the way you look at me

O is for the only one I see

V is very, very, extraordinary

E is even more than anyone that you adore…"

This Valentine's Day, show those closest to you, whether it is a special someone or your roommates, all the love you can give by cooking them a festive breakfast of delicious, heartwarming pancakes. You can also mix it up by cooking breakfast for dinner! This recipe simply calls for your favorite pancake mix and a steady hand to pour the batter in the shape of X's, O's, hearts, and the letters "L-O-V-E." If you’re feeling extra cheerful early in the morning, add some red food coloring to the mix. When you finish cooking your fluffy pancakes, delicately place them on your finest china and garnish them with fresh fruit, such as raspberries and strawberries. Nothing will smell more like love in the air than this Valentine’s Day breakfast.

If waking up early isn't your forte, we've got your back there too. Decorate your house or apartment with a Valentine’s Day banner to put a bright smile on your loved one's face. All you need to do is find some recycled paper or newspapers from around campus, cut them in the shape of banners, and attach cutout hearts that you color red or decorate with different polka dot or zigzag patterns. Connect the banners together on a piece of string and hang from your fireplace!
